“At Just The Right Time”

  

God’s timing is not our timing but God’s timing is always perfect.  God chose the “Naga People” to reveal his Glory to the surrounding regions of India, Burma, China, Indonesia, and Pakistan. For those who have never been to this region it is a very dark place in our world.  God chose the Naga people to reveal his “light” and yet the surrounding areas continue to see a place that appears to be only full of sickness and poverty.  HIV is ravishing the Naga people and the Church has been slow to react.  The Naga people were converted from “head hunting” to Christianity during the 1800’s and 1900’s.  Just like all Christians they have struggled to understand what it means to be forgiven by God’s Grace.  HIV has brought an identity of worthlessness and shame in complete contradiction of God’s Truth.

Does a light shine brighter during the day or during the darkness of night?  HIV and its path of destruction are ravaging innocent men, women, children, and babies.  It has brought darkness to this region.  Yet a “light” can be seen in the hill country of North East India where God has brought hope and love. 

God’s has recently opened the doors allowing help to come into this area after years of suppression.  A special group of servants will leave in February to bring God’s light, love, and hope to these people.  Gods has chosen this time to shine His light in this region.  God has spoken, it is time.

Is God telling you it is time? Do you feel the gentle tug on your Heart? Is it time to surrender and be part of something greater than what you think your life should be.  Look at the pictures of the men, women, and children that God loves so much on the Nehemiah web site.  If you feel the tug it may be time.
